• Causes

1. Joints at cover are weak due to bad welding or not corrosion proof
2. Inadequate cleaning or spillage during lubrication. Often caused by poor accessibility
3. Cover is misfit (usually after replacement) or improperly fitted
4. Oil level gauge blurred or faulty due to mishandling
