Proprietary grouts
Prepack grouts to BS 5385, Part 2: 1991, section 14, in 2 components, and shall be mixed upon application: Base on cement and sand but modified by various additives, including pigments that requires only the addition of clean water to obtain the desired consistency or mixed with liquid latex, in accordance with manufacturer instruction. |
Regular mopping and visual inspection for defects

For normal cleaning, clean together with tile using clean water and detergent, either with electric floor washer or water pressure jet.
For stubborn stains, use proprietary grout and tile cleaner in accordance with manufacturer recommendation. Heavy duty cleaning agent (i.e. phosphoric acid mixture with other buffering and diluted with water) can be used to remove to top layer and reveals the unstained grout. Consult the tile manufacturer for the compatibility of the cleaning agent. |
