Cladding
For each material under cladding, a brief description of the material is given and further information on its types, durability, properties, maintenance and cleaning methods; and the types of failures and repair methods are discussed. Cladding includes materials used for framing such as stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum; infill panels such as stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, GRC, natural stone (i.e. granite and marble); and jointing materials such as sealant and gasket. Waterproofing is necessary prior to the application or installation of some cladding materials.
