For each material under curtain wall, a brief description of the material is given and further information on its types, durability, properties, maintenance and cleaning methods; and the types of failures and repair methods are discussed. The curtain wall includes materials used for framing such as stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum; infill panels such as stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, glass; and jointing materials such as sealant and gasket.
