Introduction
Peeling on Surface Near Joints
Type of Building: Public Residential
The flaking or dropping off of paint work on the facade is termed as peeling. Peeling can be due to several reasons, the main one being due to defects such as blistering [1-8].
The increasing use of paint on HDB flats for aesthetic reasons may increase the ease of maintenance of the buildings but at the same time, the higher usage of paint will expose higher possibilities of such defects if not done carefully.
