Building
The building consists of a podium which houses a cinema and a tower block of offices. Within the tower block, the mould was found at the air-conditioned lift lobby of the 41st storey.
Observation
Woolly mould growth can be seen growing amongst patches of paint blistering on the concrete ceiling near the frozen food section. Moisture has even seeped within the ceiling structure, causing chemical reactions, forming stalactites on the surface.Condensation droplets can be seen on the defect area as cool air escaping from the freezer lowers the surface temperature below dew point temperature of air.
