Building
Mould was found in this air-conditioned office at the building situated at Bukit Merah central. It is presently partially occupied as most of its former tenants have vacated to a newly constructed building.
Observation
Accumulated dust and debris in turn trap nutrients and moisture necessary for mould growth. The lack or inappropriate cleaning methods do not clear the soiled or dirty area and may also introduce more moisture to the affected area.Despite that metal is non-porous and does not absorb water, mould was found growing on the diffuser fins, amongst accumulated debris and dust.
