- Penetrating damp that happens in the bedroom is caused by the airborne moisture from wet external wall that is not exposed to proper evaporation process. Since the external wall is made from brick and got wet for several long time, moisture vapor penetrate into indoor and risen the indoor RH and moisture.
- In addition, indoor has no sufficient air circulation and very little evaporation, moulds growth on the edge of the wall (joints part).
|
- Cleaning up the area with home detergent and water. If the surfaces are still visibly moldy, use TSP (trisodium phosphate).
- Open the window and door to recirculate air inside
