Water Penetration due to FACADE Design

Water penetration is one of the defects on precast facades in Singapore that had been reported of before. Water leakage into the house can be damaging to property and decorations within the units. In this case, we will take a look at the horizontal joints of precast facade and how, if any, water can possibly penetrate into the inside of a building.
The design of horizontal joints and vertical joints are slightly different and it is necessary to also understand their designs and construction methods for better prevention against water penetration.
