- Poor ventilation – vent pipe and means of forced ventilation such as exhaust fans not provided.
- Waterless appliances are not maintained well – cartridge of urinal or moisture level in waterless closets.
- Irregular cleaning – Poor housekeeping practices or cleaning is not regular is there is unsafe working condition, poor accessibility etc.
