In this case, floor-wall joint in an internal wet area of a residential building is leaking. Water stains marks were observed along the construction joint which is connected as shown in Figure 1. Joints are vulnerable locations for water leakages. Integrity of the structure depends on how these connections are designed and hence, detailing are rather important to observe the water-tightness in wet areas.
