Mild Steel

Navigation

Used as cladding material, normally mild steel is available in flat or corrugated, with plain surface or other finishes. Mild steel sheets have gone through a process of weatherproofing using either the electro-galvanizing or hot-dipped galvanizing process. Electro galvanized sheets show a dull grey surface while Hot-dipped galvanized sheets have a characteristic oil-sheen pattern on its surface. The thickness of the zinc coating and the types of corroding environment determine the durability the mild steel.
