Granite

Navigation

Granite comes in a large variety of colour. The mineral constituents are subjected to hydrothermal or weathering. The result is a generic stone that ranges across a spectrum of base colour of black, through browns and pinks to yellow and white. Compared to marble, it offers more regularity in colour tone and texture. Its unique speckled and crystalline appearance distinguish granite from other natural stone. Granite is very durable, and is also more suited for exterior application than marble is. However, it is popularly used in the interior wet areas as well.
