Hot Rolled Steel

Hot finished sections have been successfully used in primary structure for many years. Hot finished/hot formed products are characterised by the final forming operation, which is always being carried to in the austenitic state (i.e above 920°). As a result, the forming operations do not affect the physical properties of the final product, which are uniform around the complete periphery,including the seam weld in continuously welded sections.
