Application

Its main purpose is to detect water leakage by simulating rainwater penetrations under pressure.

Apart from that it can also be used to determine:

• the rate of water penetration through the façade of the building thus causing damages to the interior
• Intake of water by the sealant. Any discoloration due to leaching of soluble compounds from within the sealant can be easily determined.
• High moisture content in brickwall can lead to poor adhesion between the brickwall and cement mortar and efflorescence can also result.
