Limitations

• These devices may drift with time so accuracy should be checked by periodic calibration, either by the vendor or with a dew point measurement.
• Required to take a few more readings over the entire slab so as to get a more accurate reading for the whole slab.
• The result is often dependent on the existing surrounding temperature and this affect the accuracy of the readings taken.
• The measurement accuracy depends very much on the humidity measuring capability of the instrument/s used.
