Staining at Mortar Joints

Dirt staining is very common with tiled façade, due to the presence of long lengths of tile joints. Dirt can be accumulated along these joints which can be carried down the façade by rain (rainwater runoff).

Moisture movements and/or retention will induce other problems including dirt, biological stain, corrosion, efflorescence and sealant deterioration:
