Introduction
Misalignment of joints
Type of Building: Commercial Building
The design of joints includes considering the alignment of the joints across the whole facade. Joints that are misaligned results in overflowing of runoff in an uncontrolled manner when the rainfall volume is large. This may result in the washing off of dirt onto wall surfaces.
