The decision on the size and shape of panels to be used on a facade will dictate the layout of the joints. When panels are of different shapes and sizes, the vertical and horizontal joints will not be align and unless the drainage of the runoff from the facade is adequate, runoff will flow in an uncontrolled manner, resulting in stains.
