Cause of Defects
A common cause for yellowing is due to the fact that paint will yellow from age.
In cases where yellowing is detected at industrial areas, it is due to the industrial activities that produces fumes of ammonia products or due to the surrounding high temperature.
Using paints with certain ingredients e.g yellowing epoxy and alkyd resins, which are easily affected by light, heat or environmental contaminants, can also lead to yellowing.
Yellowish colour is seen on the wall. Depending on the colour of the painted wall, the yellowing can be very obvious.
