Remedial

The source of moisture must be located and stopped so that the surface can be kept dry and algae growth will not be promoted. In this case, by repairing the pipe leakage or by replacing the pipe, the water leak can be stopped.

1. The algae can be removed with biocidal wash and a stiff brush
2. The surface can be coated with a layer of water repellent coating
3. Overhanging vegetation should also be trimmed
