Reinforced Concrete

Navigation

Besides being used as walls, beams and columns, reinforced concrete can be used as floor slab, either cast monolithically in position in a building (in-situ) i.e. flush slab; beam and slab; drop slab; and waffle-grid slab, or can be formed of a series of reinforced precast concrete units, manufactured in a factory and brought to site i.e. hollow planks, inverted T, double T, channel, and solid wide planks.
