| Weathering/ Fading of pre-painted products |
After determining the degree of weathering or fading, the surface should be given appropritae preparation and painted with a quality paint. [1] |
| Corrosion |
- Heavy corrosion to be removed by either wire brushing or sandblasting.
- Clean the entire surface throughly.
- Use a cleaning soultion to remove dirt and surface contaminants which will promote adhesion of the new paint surface.
- Wash the surface with plenty of water and allow to dry completely.
- Apply the finishing coat at the manufacturer’s recommended coverage rate.
