Homogeneous Tile

“Porcelain tile” is the general term for dry low water absorption ceramic tiles that are dry pressed, unglazed and are produced by single firing. Homogeneous tile is quite popular in Singapore because it is relatively more economic, compared to natural stone. It is harder and more durable than normal ceramic tile. The body is homogeneous and comes in different finishes, includes natural stone look alike. Besides being used in the interior space, it can be used as external façade, provided the tile bedding is the good quality that can promise effective bonding to the substrate.
