Remedial
1) Replace the bulb seal of the opening sash with a soft bulb seal.
2) The corner joints of the sash opening must be fully fillet sealed up to the gasket airseal.
3) Remove the top flap seal at the opening sash head
4) Provide drain holes through the sash rails and under the internal trims. Bed the trims in sealant on re-glazing.
5) Replace mullion trims at the sash and seal all screw heads
6) Ensure that the sash can close properly.
7) Replace the internal airseal gasket of the fixed light vision with a correct-fit wedge gasket with bonded corners
8) Fill the ends of the hollow transoms with expanding polyurethane foam to seal the transom/mullion joints.
9) Remove, clean up and re-bed the external glazing trims in sealant along the top ends during re-installation.
10) Drill a hole at the base of the short mullion to allow drainage and pressure equalisation.
